You made XLibre a "first one on...!", your average person's daily driver or center of ricing and tinkering? Excellent! Please capture it and share your screenshot here. As you are onto it, we kindly ask you to mention what OS and distribution you are on, the desktop environment or window manager, your GPU and type of usage, etc. You may also include the output of fastfetch or one of its siblings in your shot.

If you like someone else‘s work, hit the like button on it and write a reply with your appreciation.

Yes, overall Ubuntu aesthetics but I think GNOME 2/MATE had an overall better use of all available functional space with one panel for common everyday utilities and one panel for window and workspace related operations.

@manishkumar102317 As @xgui4 already asked you: Are you shure you're running XLibre? The first screen shows "Wayland" and the second shows no window manager/display server information after all. We'd have to remove the screen if there's no clear indication of XLibre.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I am sorry I was connected to my machine via SSH and inside the SSH it showed the wayland, Here is the new screenshot which shows the XLibre screen. Let me know if you need anything more.

Good news, I compiled kernel 6.18.8 with new CIX patches for the cix-cd8180 SoC together with XLibre 25.1.1 and Mesa 25.3.3, and graphics acceleration worked on my Mali-G720 using LXQt.

XLibre 1.25.1 with LXQT 1.4.0 running on the latest Vipnix Linux LiveCD. It also ships with the NVIDIA beta driver 590.44.01 and full support for RTX 5080 GPUs. Besides that, it has been thoroughly tested on RTX 3070 cards, with everything working flawlessly.

Hi MetalHead – never knew so many games existed – are they all GOG?
Interesting distro – Gentoo dropping GitHub in favour of Codeberg based on Forgejo; which is maintained by a non-profit located in Berlin, Germany. I must give it a try soon.
I very much like and appreciate your enthusiasm for XLibre but my 75 year old eyes cannot detect the presence of XLibre in your screenshots – please post correct images clearly showing XLibre in use.
Skimming over other posts here on this thread will show you how by example – best wishes.

Sonic DE on Artix + Taisei project :) work really well, but for some reason the volume key work on sonicde/plasma but not i3... maybe that a bug with i3 and openrc ? it did not had that bug on systemd... but i am not going back to that red hat garbage of system init

Screenshot from my Gentoo Linux setup. System is built from the LLVM + OpenRC stage3, running XLibre with the XanMod kernel.

A few days ago I switched to XFCE because I wanted something lighter.
So far, on my LLVM + OpenRC stage3 setup, XFCE on X has been more stable for me than the Wayland environment I used before.
At the moment, XLibre is still the only setup on my machine that runs reliably.

Finally took the dive and just installed on my desktop running void linux a few hours ago. Love it so far! I'm pretty sure I can tell an increase in performance. Xorg had some glitchy problem with my old gpu, which seems to be liberated now.

We are absolutely thrilled with the large number and variety of Liberated Screens submitted so far! This is a huge success and clearly shows the potential of FOSS and our vibrant community. Although we unfortunately can’t respond to every single screenshot, we appreciate each one for its uniqueness and your contributions as a whole. Thank you very, very much!
