Does AliasVault support generating Steam TOTP codes?

If so, how do I set it up so that AliasVault can generate Steam TOTP codes? I’ve already added a 2FA field for Steam, but the codes it generates are standard TOTP codes, not Steam-specific ones. I asked this because most password managers and 2FA apps support this, but using different approaches.

For example, in Bitwarden, to enable it to generate Steam TOTP codes, you need to enter steam://YOUR_SECRET_CODE_HERE into the 2FA field in the login entry, whereas with KeePassXC and other 2FA apps, you simply need to add &encoder=steam to the otpauth:// URI, either using the app’s built-in feature to add it manually or by simply scanning the available QR code.

If not, I hope this feature is included and added to the at least version 1.0 roadmap. I think it would be even better if AliasVault could generate Steam TOTP codes, especially as the user base is bound to grow in the future and, of course, Steam users themselves will be among them.

Thanks for creating this question. Currently AliasVault only supports default TOTP codes. However we are planning to add more TOTP algorithms and settings to make AliasVault compatible with more standards.

So yes we can certainly take a look at adding support for Steam TOTP too when we look at the issue mentioned above.
