Conference related meeting

We need to start actively working and coordinating work around the AsyncAPI Conference.

I propose that we have:

• weekly meeting every Thursday at 3PM UTC
• meeting name: Conference 2022 organization
• first meeting 28 of April

It is a place where we coordinate the work and regularly share updates on where we are and what is missing. As usual, we do not make decisions at the meeting.

Reason: Last year we did it async and offline. It was super hard to engage the community in async way in situation when you need to progress a bit faster. This is why this year I propose a hybrid approach: sync meeting + async decision making and work

I want to help with our 2022 conference too, but I don't know if weekly meetings feel feasible...

Is it possible to do bi-weekly perhaps?

Hi! Are we still doing bi-weekly conference meetings? @AceTheCreator and I were chatting about the conference website in private and we would love to move that conversation to the public 😄

@mcturco btw, just to make sure, we meet to sync on progress of different conference organization areas, we do not need to keep you waiting with website. Website repo is public, anyone can subscribe for notifications, anyone can watch issues and see what direction the website is going, and if something is not nice, voice opinion in the website. Just want to make sure you know that you do not have to wait for the meeting 😄

Thanks, @derberg! Yes of course, I was more asking about this so that you know we are wanting a slot to talk about the website in these recurring meetings. We are going to re-do the design based on a specific art direction (that I have not worked on yet 😅) and I am sure we will have ideas to share by the time of the next meeting.

Just remembered though... I have jury duty (my "American Duty" 😅 ) the day of the next meeting, so I may not be able to join 😞 But I'm sure @AceTheCreator could take the reigns on presenting some ideas once we come up with them.
