Repository can't pull after Github's redesign resetted LFS data packs

Hello team,

After the redesign of the Github billing pages, the data packs were resetted to 0 and now we can't pull.
Our repository is showing the error:
"This repository exceeded its LFS budget"

However, our current LFS usage is well within limits:
Storage: 39.36 GB / 100 GB
Bandwidth: 20.11 GB / 100 GB

We have already purchased the necessary LFS data packs.

Any Idea what we should do?

We have the same issue and basically cant work as a result of it. Really hope for a solution soon.

The solution they gave me is to go to Billing & Licencing>Budgets & alerts, and increase the budget limit to your needs. It works perfect after that!

I can confirm that the same solution works for us. Its probably still a bug, but at least there is a decent workaround. Thanks for updating the thread with the answer.

That is not a viable solution, and sounds like another indicator of the corporatization of GitHub, from an open sharing community, to Microsoft's closed source code repository. There is also a serious privacy concerns, as increasing these restrictions requires users to disclose personal information for billing purposes.

In my instance, I merely forked the repository containing firmware for a device I had already purchased. I have no control over the size of the files in this repository, and deriving another hosting solution would be highly problematic as the repository is involved in an automated build process.

As a result of these limitations, not only am I having difficulty keeping my copy of the repository in sync with upstream, but I am unable to push to my forked branch.

But the budget limits are in $, and I don't want to spend a single $ over what my limit already is. Is there a way to manage budgets in the quote provided in GB?

I don't think so. They changed that, based on the budget you are willing to spend. Unfortunattely I didn't find an alternative option.

That is so inefficient. Not everyone pays for each of those services. Some pay for the storage, some for LFS. Having everyone adjust those in terms of a $ amount makes no sense.
