Github Account Suspended Without Any Detail Information

My old Account https://github.com/Woooooow-Pro.

This is the second time in two months that GitHub has suspended my account without providing any reason.

Last time, they claimed this account

fraudulently obtain[ed] the benefits offered as part of the Student Developer Pack

yet they failed to provide any specific evidence. When I recovered my account, I verified that my GitHub account was no longer linked to student benefits. I also unlinked it from numerous other websites.

What's even more absurd is that, as an LLM training developer at a startup, I have not used GitHub for any operational tasks for a long time. For both vibe coding and repositories, we have our own internal solutions. My GitHub account is purely a personal space to document my growth as a programmer. I absolutely cannot comprehend any valid reason for my account to be suspended.

Hey man, that really sucks 😞 I can imagine how annoying it must feel to get suspended again without a clear reason. Honestly, it doesn’t sound like you did anything wrong it’s probably GitHub’s automated system flagging your account by mistake.

What I’d suggest is:

Go to GitHub Support
and open a ticket under Account reinstatement.

Mention your username (Woooooow-Pro) and clearly explain that you’re no longer using the Student Pack, your account is personal only, and this is the second false suspension.

Ask them to escalate it to the Trust & Safety team for a proper manual review.

Also, just in case, keep local backups of your repos so you don’t get locked out of your work again.

I know it’s frustrating, but if you push this through support with the details, they usually sort it out pretty quickly once a real person looks at it. Hang in there bro, you’ll get your account back. 💪

Bro, how did you get your account back? I got banned too with the same issue — no details, no information. It happened on the same day as you (mine was August 26), and now it’s been a month but I still can’t get my account back.

My (another) account was suspended after i contacted support because they asked me to do so. NO WARNING and all support emails responds with annoying message that I broke the rules and they cannot recover my account. What the ... i can't even download my repos nothing. They didn't even send me any emails .. i just couldn't log in anymore!!! Trust has gone.

Hello GitHub Community Team,I am writing to urgently request a manual review for Ticket #4449203. My account has been completely suspended since June 3rd (over 5 weeks ago) with zero human response so far. What Happened: On the morning of June 3rd, I woke up to approximately 20 automated notification emails alerting me of failed CI/CD workflow runs across multiple repositories. I had not pushed any code or initiated any actions to trigger these builds. Immediately after seeing these emails, I attempted to log into my account and found that it had been suspended. The Cause: It is clear that my account suffered an external security compromise. Unauthorized actors gained access and maliciously triggered a barrage of automated workflow runs. GitHub's automated abuse filters rightfully caught the unusual spike in compute activity and locked the account down. My Request: I fully understand why the automated system flagged and suspended the account to protect the platform. However, I am the innocent victim of a breach and have now been locked out of my development work for over a month. I need a member of the Trust & Safety team to look at the login IP history and workflow edit timestamps prior to June 3rd to verify that this was a compromise. As soon as my account is reinstated, I am prepared to immediately reset my password, purge all active sessions, and rotate all SSH keys and Personal Access Tokens (PATs) to secure it. Could a community manager please flag Ticket #4449203 for an internal reviewer? Thank you for your time and assistance.
