GitHub Student Developer Pack and JetBrains

Hello, I would like to ask for help with the GitHub Student Developer Pack.

I applied for GitHub Education, and my application was accepted. It said that it would be available within 72 hours. My application was accepted 3 days ago, but when I try to apply for Jetbrains Products for Learning, after logging into GitHub, it says: We are sorry, GitHub has not granted your account a GitHub Student Developer Pack, please apply with other methods.

Congrats on getting accepted into the GitHub Student Developer Pack!

Sometimes, it can take a little extra time for third-party services like JetBrains to recognize your Student Pack status, even after GitHub has approved your application. A few things you can try:

Double-check your GitHub Education status
Go to https://education.github.com/benefits
and make sure your pack is fully active. If it still shows as pending or not activated, the system may not have fully processed your access yet.

Re-log into JetBrains
When applying for the JetBrains student license, make sure you’re logging in with your GitHub account that has the Pack enabled. You might want to clear cookies/cache or use an incognito window.

Use your student email address
If the GitHub login doesn’t work, JetBrains also allows applications using a verified student email address (like .edu or your school-issued email). You can apply here directly: https://www.jetbrains.com/community/education/#students

Wait a bit longer
If it’s been just about 3 days, there’s a chance the system is still syncing. You might want to give it another day or two.

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once available, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.
