Completing Education Benefits #189018
Hi everyone,Hello! I'm unable to verify my student status using a photo of my student ID, apparently because the university name is not visible. I guess it's because the photo quality is poor. I would like to upload a PDF file in good quality instead, but I'm being forced to take photos with my webcam. Is it possible to submit a file in good quality for the application? |

Heyy, So abt the sending the student ID, i connected my phone to my pc and made it as a webcame and then took pictures to send my student ID, u can try and do the same |

Honestly, I tried doing that, but I still get errors saying that the name of my educational institution is not visible in the photo. Perhaps this issue is not related to the photo quality. |

You are usually asked to take photos from your webcam or laptop camera when your current location is not close to where your college or university is located. For example, if your college is in one state but you are applying from another state, the system may trigger the webcam verification step. In many cases, the verification keeps getting rejected if you try to complete it from a location that is far from your college. It generally works only when you apply from a location that is near your college or at least within the same state. So if you are facing repeated verification failures, try completing the process when you are closer to your college location or within the same state. |

I don't believe that the camera-based verification will work successfully in my case, since I have already tried multiple official academic documents and both the front and rear cameras, but the system still could not clearly recognize the information. Would it be possible for me to submit several of my official academic documents directly for review by a member of the GitHub Education team? I would greatly appreciate a manual review. My name is written in Arabic on all of my official academic documents, including my university records and transcript, and a human reviewer should be able to verify that the name matches my GitHub information. |
