Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask about the process for getting a hackathon listed on the GitHub Education Events page.

Our event is being organized by B.E./B.Tech students, and we wanted to understand:

• Whether student-organized hackathons can be featured on GitHub Education Events
• If there are any eligibility requirements
• Whether there is an official submission form or process
• If this should be done through GitHub Education directly, Campus Experts, or another community channel

If there is a recommended way to submit or request event consideration, I’d really appreciate the guidance.

Visit education.github.com and look for the Events submission form
Contact a GitHub Campus Expert in your region — they can help feature your event
Reach out directly via GitHub Education support at education@github.com
Make sure your event meets basic requirements: student-organized, educational focus, open to participants
