Hi everyone, I’ve been working extensively with ONLYOFFICE for a financial administration project, and I ran into a printing issue that many users seem to struggle with. After a lot of testing, I discovered the exact cause and a simple fix that instantly solves all print layout problems. I’m sharing it here so nobody else has to waste hours trying to figure it out

THE FIX: Stuck print settings in ONLYOFFICE? Missing columns? Landscape not working? Here’s the solution. Post: Many ONLYOFFICE users struggle with persistent printing issues, such as: · columns not appearing in print · landscape mode not working · scaling being ignored · repeating titles not showing · sheet protection suddenly turning on · print settings that cannot be changed · print preview “frozen” or stuck It often feels like the document is broken, or that you did something wrong. Some people even think they downloaded a virus or that ONLYOFFICE itself is malfunctioning. But that’s not the case. The real cause: ONLYOFFICE automatically saves print settings in the background without clearly telling you. These saved settings override everything and cause the print layout to get stuck. The solution (works instantly): 1. Go to Page Layout 2. Click Print Area 3. Select Clear Print Area That’s it. This removes the hidden, saved print configuration. ONLYOFFICE will then recalculate everything, and: · columns reappear · landscape mode works again · scaling works again · repeating titles are restored · sheet protection disappears · print layout becomes editable again You do not need to rebuild your document. It is not a virus. It is not a corrupted file. It is simply a hidden print profile that needs to be cleared. I hope this helps many people — it instantly solved all my printing issues.
