Hi everyone,

I have tried to upload several different evidences of my student status: Student ID, Student finance confirmation etc. No matter what I do the picture is keep getting blurry and I'm using a pretty good phone. I have tried then submitting ss but I am getting an e-mail to take a picture with a phone. So, why do we have an option to upload an evidence if its keep asking to do it with phone which is making it blurry? I really do not know what to do anymore at this point.

Anyone, any suggestion?

• Use natural light and place your document on a flat surface before taking the photo. Avoid flash or shadows.
• Capture the full document — make sure your name, institution, and date are clearly visible.
• Avoid screenshots — GitHub’s system often rejects them because they can be edited easily.
• If the upload option keeps asking for a phone photo, try using the GitHub mobile app or a different browser (Chrome or Edge) to submit.
• You can also contact GitHub Education Support directly at education@github.com [(github.com)] with your evidence attached — they can manually review your case.

Many verified students have succeeded by using their official student ID or enrollment letter scanned clearly under good lighting.
