Hello maintainers. My first attempt (#202871) was submitted through the API and was automatically closed because it did not use the required UI template. I then resubmitted this discussion through the official UI and template, but the duplicate-introduction rule counted the already-closed attempt. I have updated this post so it is a broad personal introduction rather than a promotion for one project. Could a maintainer please review and reopen this discussion, or advise me on the approved way to keep one valid introduction? I will not create another introduction. Thank you for your time. |

Introduce yourself
Hi everyone! I am Emilio Abarca (
eeminionn), an Interaction Design student at Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) in Chile. I build across software and the physical world: robots, connected devices, fabricated interfaces, educational tools and audiovisual experiments.Important context: the projects I mention are at different stages of development. Many are prototypes, experiments, workshop documentation or student work, not finished products.
I founded EIRI UDD, an interdisciplinary robotics and innovation team, and I mentor robotics and STEAM learning experiences at Fundacion Mustakis. Ask me about physical computing, Arduino/ESP projects, digital fabrication or turning an unusual idea into a working experiment.

Where are you in your GitHub journey?
Maintaining a project or repo owner
And where are you going next on GitHub?
My next step is to contribute more useful fixes to open-source projects, improve the documentation and accessibility of my public prototypes, and learn from people working across design, engineering and education.
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
I am working on embedded systems, robotics, physical interfaces, creative coding, CNC workflows, 3D scanning, computer-vision experiments and programming education. My repositories include firmware, workshop guides, fabrication logs, interactive prototypes and design documentation.
