Achievements tab returns 404 despite merged PR and correct settings

Hi everyone,👋

My Achievements tab is returning a 404 error😢, even though I have a merged pull request and my profile settings appear correct.

Details:

• Username: helishia20
• URL that returns 404: https://github.com/helishia20?tab=achievements
• I merged PR ("docs: add project notes to README") in helishia20/industrial-anomaly-detector on Aug 5, 2026. This should qualify for Pull Shark and YOLO.
• Both of my commit emails are verified on this account.
• In Settings > Public profile, "Show achievements on my profile" and "Include private contributions on my profile" are both enabled.
• Tried: hard refresh, incognito mode, multiple browsers, toggling settings off/on. The 404 persists.
• It has been more than 48 hours since the merge.

Has anyone else run into this, or found a fix? I saw similar reports in older discussions (#174574, #190816, #198857) but wanted to check if there's an updated solution or if this needs to be escalated to GitHub staff.

This 404 error means GitHub's backend routing for your achievements tab is broken, preventing badge data from rendering.Since togglinf didn't work, submit a ticket via GitHub Support under Account & Profile.Ask them to "manually rebuild the achievements routing flag" for your account to fix the broken database link.This helps you to fix your bug my friend accept my answer to get me a galaxy brain badge.THANK YOU

Sometimes GitHub's backend queues for achievements get a little backed up, which can cause that 404 error if the tab hasn't fully initialized yet (even I have the same issue trying to get the Pull Shark badge).

Perhaps, you may try doing a quick change or wait at least 48 hours. If the badge still doesn't appear on your profile, then you should send a ticket to GitHub Support.
