Hi everyone,

I have tried to get reverified as a Teacher. I have provided snapshots of my course schedule, user proficle using our Schools system and it continues to get denied. I have had this for the last few years, have organizaitons that have been upgraded to Teams and am using this Semester starting Aug 17th 2026. Previously, I had been approved had my current organizations approved thru Aug 12, 2028. I am not sure what else to do!!

The detail that stands out: you're submitting snapshots of your school's system (course schedule, user profile). Portal screenshots are exactly what the current automated verification handles worst — they get flagged as unverifiable or as reused images far more than photographed paper documents, and reverification today goes through the same automated pipeline as new applications (prior approval doesn't grease it, unfortunately).

What tends to pass for teachers:

1. A physical document photographed with the device camera during the flow — employment contract page, a signed/stamped employment verification letter on school letterhead, or a faculty ID, dated recently.
2. Full name on the document matching your GitHub profile and billing name (Settings → Billing → payment information) exactly.
3. Your school email verified on the account and used in the application.

Two reassurances: your organizations that were upgraded stay upgraded through their current term (through 2028 per your dates) even while your personal reverification is pending, so the semester isn't at risk on that front. And if a letter + camera capture still gets denied, the education-specific queue at https://support.github.com/contact/education is the escalation path — mention it's a reverification of a previously approved teacher account and include the application ID.
