Hi everyone,
I'm a verified teacher on GitHub Education. When I try to upgrade my organization @lcg-infodesign to GitHub Team from the teacher benefits page, I get this error:
Some context:
This same organization was already upgraded to GitHub Team in 2024, also through my teacher benefits, and is used for teaching.
My other organizations upgrade without any problem, so my teacher verification seems fine. The block affects only @lcg-infodesign.
I opened a support ticket but haven't received a reply.
It looks like an old discount request tied to the organization is stuck in "outstanding" state, as reported in other threads (e.g.
#200835). Could someone from the GitHub Education team clear it, so I can upgrade the organization again?
Unfortunately I only noticed the problem now. I re-verified as a teacher on September 14 and assumed the organization would be fine as well; otherwise I would have set up a new one before the course started. Now the course is underway and students are working on their first assignment in this organization, so moving everything to a new organization at this point would be very disruptive.
Thank you!
