Hi everyone,
I recently took the GitHub Foundations certification exam through OnVUE and received a Pass result at the end of the exam.
I would like to know approximately how long it usually takes for the official certificate and digital badge to become available after passing.
Do I need to complete any additional steps, or should I just wait for the certification to be processed?
Thanks in advance!

Congrats on passing! You should find the certificate in the Microsoft Learn profile you used to register for the exam.
One detail that’s easy to miss: GitHub stopped issuing new Credly badges for certifications earned on or after July 1, 2025. You’ll get a downloadable Microsoft Learn certificate instead.
The official FAQ says it becomes available shortly after passing, but doesn’t give an exact processing time. If it stays missing, Microsoft Credentials Support can help check it.
How long ago did you take the exam?

Thanks for the information! I took the exam today at 10 a.m.
I saw the "Passed" result at the end of the OnVUE session, but the certificate doesn't appear in my Microsoft Learn profile yet.
I'll wait a bit longer and check again. Thanks for clarifying the change regarding Credly!
