What is the keyboard shortcut to open the Chat View Panel?

Now I have to display the "Activity Bar" and click the chat icon to open the Chat View Panel. Is there a keyboard shortcut to display the Chat View Panel? I checked shortcut settings and didn't find anything. Googling also didn't give me any help. Thank you in advance.

Yes, I'm using VSCode. Ctrl+I only brings up an input. I'm asking about the Chat Panel on the left. Please see the screenshot below.

Hi @BettyJJ ,

There isn't a keyboard shortcut by default. However, you can assign one from the File > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts. (Code > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts on macOS) menu in your IDE.

On VSCode you can hover to any error or use shortcut (ctrl+. or command+.) to open option of "Quick Fix" and then select "Fix using Copilot"

You can use below shortcut for chat prompt as well

Windows/Linux

• CTRL+Shift+I

MacOS

• Command+I
• Command+Shift+I
