Describe the enhancement

Reolink has introduced smart event detection to some of their cameras with a firmware update, including the CX810.

This includes alerts for "Perimeter Protection", which allows for line crossing alerts, zone intrusion alerts, and zone loitering alerts.

Not documented on the above link is the inclusion of forgotten object and object removal. This was included on at least the CX810 on the latest update. This allows for drawing an area on your camera feed and you will be alerted to any objects being added or removed.

Use cases

Forgotten object could be a great way to detect new packages left at a doorstep.

Perimeter alerts can be a great way to get alerted to security threats during certain hours.

Unfortunately, within the Reolink app you can't set up multiple notification schedules. If HA were to integrate these new alerts, you could for example use the same camera for both perimeter alerts overnight, and for package alerts during the day.

These are already supported by HomeAssistant. You need to set them up in the Reolink app, once you configured them, they will automatically show up in HomeAssistant.

It doesn't work for me, it just showed the new entities, but they do not update. I have them connected with the NVR

There was a bug related to this which I fixed in the latest version.

Interesting, please open a issue on the core HomeAssistant github. Please include the diagnostic info file from the Reolink integration, and a debug log while you cause some smart events (you can see them trigger in the life stream of the Reolink app).
