Vega OS Client

Hello everybody,
A few weeks ago, I bought a Fire TV SELECT from Amazon.
Long story short, I didn't know it was based on Vega OS and not on Android TV, and there is no client developed for this system.
I looked around, and it seems that there is neither an ongoing implementation nor a proposal.
Do you think it is going to be possible to develop it or create a proposal?

Unfortunately Amazon suddenly dropped this new OS when they released their new devices, so we had 0 times to prepare for it. We're currently exploring our options to get Jellyfin on this new operating system.

So I am in the very, very early stage of development of a Vega app. At this point it's just trying to load a set instance of the web app in a webview on a Vega device or emulator. Unfortunately the dev experience has been a mess and they have the platform so locked down that it is impossible for anyone that is not a registered Amazon developer to even download the SDK.

A Vega OS app is in development. We've recently shared about this in the State of the Fin.
Unfortunately it is blocked by a limitation of the platform making is unable to communicate with the Jellyfin web-interface. When that is resolved (and they said it should be in the next update) we can continue working on the app.

Quick update: development was largely stalled because of an issue with Amazon's Webview implementation. This was recently fixed in their new SDK. Unfortunately I haven't had time to work on the client since because of my other Jellyfin work (Android apps / 12.0 release / administrative tasks). The client isn't forgotten though, and hopefully I can get a usable version out in the coming months.
