I've been evaluating this on Sailfish OS (SFOS) and it really is a native Organic Maps. I say this as someone who has used the Android app extensively. This would also help position SFOS as a serious alternative to the Apple and Google duopoly. (It already is but many people do not realize this.) |

@klahr thanks for porting Organic Maps to Sailfish! It would be great if you can make a pull request and keep/support your port here, so we can help with code reviews, and users can report related issues in a centralized way. After merging it, you (and others) can maintain the port directly here, synced with all core changes and new features, and publish synced releases. We would also prefer to publish the app as "Organic Maps" from our account, due to privacy and security reasons. Please reach me in Telegram or Matrix as |

Is there something that could be done so the UI would look and act more native? Right now it does look a bit like material with Sailfish colors and icons. |

I would love to use this app. Let it be please, even as separate branch maintained by sailfish developers to be kept up with main branch |

The port is now being tested and I am preparing a PR. Expect a few days for testing and fixing. I posted an update in the Sailfish forum: https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/organic-maps-port-for-sailfish-os/34577/38 |

Hi Organic Maps team,
I've ported Organic Maps to Sailfish OS and would like to publish it in the OpenRepos repository under the name "Organic Maps". Before I do, I want to check that this is OK with you.

My questions:
Thanks for a great app, and I'm happy to change things to fit how you'd like this done.
