I would like to trigger the discussion of abstracting the Postgres schema and chustom user requirements (in Appwrite terminology, Collections) on a High-Availability Redis Cluster (the official Redis Cloud perhaps); and/or considering Ethereum or a more suitable Appchain/Smartchain as an On-Chain Granulary Encrypted Decentralized Database.
Scientific publication on the matter
Problem with Blockchains as opposed to Clusters, especially Redis, is latency and performance; but having read the numbers Infura API calls go through generally very fast.
Just food for thought, this is my first idea I submit.
