Self Host Support and License

Hello. I am writing to request information about the self-hosted version of Supabase: my company would like to develop a new system, using Supabase as the basis for the project. Specifically, I would like to clarify:

1. Whether there are any licensing costs associated with the self-hosted version, and if so, what these costs are.

2. If such licensing costs cover all integrated modules within Supabase (e.g., Kong, Deno, PostgreSQL database, PostgREST, Realtime, Storage, Auth, etc.).

3. Whether Supabase provides technical support for the self-hosted version (e.g., bug fixes, technical inquiries, troubleshooting), and if so, the pricing and conditions for such support.

Clarification: I am not associated with supabase in any way.

1. it's Free (Apache-2.0)
2. They update the Docker images periodically. But it's free to use.
3. No, Everything needs to be maintained by you. You can write through Github Discussions or use Discord to request community support.

Actually Supabase is open source because it was like that at the beginning, once they became a company with so many shareholders, this philosophy becomes a bit blurry, I mean, we see the code, we can contribute, but the Self Hosted version is years behind the Cloud version (Believe me, there are still too many problems to solve) on the other hand, the answers to the problems that the community finds are devilishly slow (Months or years to solve something)

Another thing to think about :
Trying to take the idea and use other components like Apisix instead of Kong , or use Keycloak.

Being a company then ask themselves if the cost of the devs and of the hardware is lower than the cloud version of Supabase IMHO

@JLAcostaEC Curious, why "years"? :) I might be ignorant here, just started learning, but the feature matrix looks fairly extensive? What's critically missing in your PoV, feature-wise? https://supabase.com/docs/guides/getting-started/features#generally-available

I'm referring to the number of issues that still haven't been resolved, how little documentation there is beyond getting it working, you have to spend a lot of time investigating how to configure X thing. You'll realize what I'm saying if you try to deploy a SelfHost that uses several Supabase features, you'll most likely run into a problem. That's what I mean, an example is that when using BigQuery, when starting the container for the first time, BigQuery will give an error for too many queries at once, so you have to restart the container so that it runs the necessary creation queries again and the logs can "work". However, you'll notice that you won't have access to the edge functions logs, because the current query simply doesn't work.

As well as this, there are many other problems.
