Hi Supabase team,

First of all, thank you for building such an amazing platform. When I discovered Supabase, I was genuinely excited, especially because it is open-source and still offers high-quality paid plans. It is a powerful product, and I appreciate the work that goes into it.

However, after spending time with platforms like Airtable and NocoDB, I noticed some areas where Supabase’s UI and UX could be more user-friendly, especially for non-technical users or those transitioning from MySQL or spreadsheet-style databases.

Feature Suggestions (inspired by Airtable and NocoDB)

I would love to see Supabase implement features similar to Airtable and NocoDB that make data management extremely intuitive:

1. Spreadsheet-style table editing

• Easier row editing
• Inline field editing
• Cleaner and more flexible list views (rows and records similar to NocoDB)

2. Easier field and column management

• Simple creation of enums
• Dedicated field types (email, URL, attachment, etc.)
• Clickable links and previewable attachments

3. Simplified relationship handling

• Easy link-to-table and foreign key creation
• UI for defining relationships without writing SQL

4. Improved search and filtering

• Column-specific search
• Fast search across all fields
• Filter and edit panels similar to Airtable

Why This Would Be a Game Changer

Adding these features would make Supabase much more approachable for:

• non-technical users
• teams migrating from Airtable or NocoDB
• developers who want a fast and visual way to manage data
• product teams that need collaborative and spreadsheet-like interfaces

It would transform Supabase into not only a backend powerhouse but also a platform that both developers and non-developers can use with ease.

I truly believe that bringing Airtable-level usability to the Supabase UI would set a new standard and make Supabase even more attractive to a wider audience.
