I've recently updated Docker Compose overlay for MinIO with the Chainguard image. (See CHANGELOG as well.)

To the best of my understanding, Chainguard maintains MinIO images that are patched and safe to use. (Confirmed via a recent call with the team.)

To quote the image page: "Chainguard Containers are regularly-updated, secure-by-default container images."

There's also a community PR to add RustFS as an alternative.
