Project stuck in "Restoration in progress" state (Region: ap-northeast-1, Ticket: SU-398642)

Hi Supabase team,

My project has been stuck in the "Restoration in progress" state for quite a long time.

The dashboard message says:
"Restoration in progress
Restoration can take from a few minutes up to several hours depending on the size of your database. Your project will be offline while the restoration is running.
This is taking longer than usual. Contact support if this project remains in a restoring state."

Details:

• Region: ap-northeast-1 (AWS)
• Plan: Free
• Ticket ID: SU-398642
• Approximate time since restore started: [e.g. X hours]

There are no errors shown in the UI, but the project has not finished restoring yet.

Could someone please check if the restore job is stuck or if anything needs to be done from my side?

Only support can resolve this.
Are you Free or Pro?
Did you get a 2nd automated email after the ticket # one?
How long ago did you submit the ticket?

• Plan: I am on the Free plan.
• Emails: I received the first automated email with the ticket number (SU-398642), but I did NOT receive any second automated email after that.
• Ticket time: I submitted the ticket about [X hours] ago.

Right now the project is still in the "Restoration in progress" state with the message:
"This is taking longer than usual. Contact support if this project remains in a restoring state."

If you know how the support flow works for Free plan users in this situation, or if there is anything else I should do (wait more, reopen the ticket, or any workaround), please let me know.

Not sure why you said X hours ago. I need to know when to know if I can escalate.

There is nothing you can do about this but wait on support.

BUT I have an informal path as a mod to Supabase to bump tickets for critical issues that only support can resolve... But because there is 2nd email that can come up to 6 hours later, need to see if that happens.

• I received the first automated email with the ticket ID (SU-398642) at 18 June 2026, 12:54 AM IST.
• So it has been about 1.5 hours since that email.
• I am on the Free plan.
• I have only received that first automated email so far. I have NOT received any second automated email yet.

Right now the project is still in the "Restoration in progress" state with the message:
"This is taking longer than usual. Contact support if this project remains in a restoring state."

I understand that only support can resolve this.
If after 6 hours there is still no second email and the project is still stuck, it would really help me if you could bump the ticket through your mod path.

I just linked the new support ticket to my Supabase account using the “Link your conversation” link.

Details:

• Plan: Free

• First ticket ID: SU-398642
• Second ticket ID (linked): SU-398716
• First ticket email time: 18 June 2026, 12:54 AM IST
• The project is still in "Restoration in progress" with the "This is taking longer than usual" message.

I understand that only support can resolve this, and I’ll wait to see if a follow-up email comes in the next few hours.
If after 6 hours there is still no update and the project is still stuck, it would really help me if you could bump the ticket through your mod path.

Quick update: I just received a non-automated reply from Supabase Support.

They said:
"Thank you for contacting Supabase Support. I'm forwarding this ticket to the respective team to best assist you."

So it looks like the ticket has now been picked up and forwarded internally.
I’ll wait for their follow-up, but just wanted to let you know that support has responded now.
