It would be great to have an additional subscription tier between the Free and Pro plans—perhaps called Basic.
The Free plan is excellent for getting started, but growing projects eventually reach its limits. At the same time, upgrading directly to Pro is not always financially practical or necessary for independent developers, students, small teams, or early-stage projects.
A more affordable Basic plan with moderately higher usage limits than the Free tier could bridge this gap. It would allow developers to continue building and testing their projects without immediately committing to the full Pro plan.
For example, the Basic plan could offer higher database, storage, bandwidth, and compute limits while keeping some of the advanced Pro features exclusive to the Pro tier.
I believe this would be valuable to many developers who have outgrown the Free plan but are not yet ready—or do not yet need—to upgrade to Pro. It could also make the eventual transition to Pro much smoother.
Thank you for considering this, and thank you for building such a great platform!
