How to use Settings > Notes & notebooks > Metadata?

In Orgzly's settings under Notes & Notebooks, there is a Metadata option that says, "Metadata you can choose to always display in note," with checkboxes next to various note metadata field names. I have tried checking/in checking various boxes but I do not see anything different in the notes list, when editing a note, or in search results.

What exactly is this setting supposed to affect?

I've never touched those settings but you seem to be right - I can't see any differences either...

I'm using this option. When you open a note, top-right -> metadata, you can change between always showing all metadata or just the selected. Show all is probably the default then?
