Added
Drivers at Great Lakes Training Transport can now move to another carrier. At level 4 with full dispatch trust, Business status lists the other carriers.
Interstates now have the sound of distant traffic, louder on busier stretches.
On busy freeways, traffic now comes up beside you and passes.
The radio status screen says where your own playlist files go until you have one on the dial.
A fuel range warning speaks when your fuel will not reach the next fuel stop. It names your range and how far the stop is.
The Radio app can suggest a station that is missing from the dial. Accepted stations join every driver's dial, and AM and FM ones play near home.
Text fields now paste with Control V, and name punctuation as you type it. A colon or slash is spoken as a word instead of a silent click.
Drivers can call dispatch while stopped for trip-specific help. Report delays, hours, road conditions, truck trouble or load trouble.
Changed
The player manual and How to play now explain menus, driving, rest, radio, and career choices more clearly.
How to play announces controller controls, including how to stop speech.
Update checks, the bug report page and the manual download link now go to the game's new GitHub home, orinks-games.
A slow vehicle ahead in your lane is now called at half a mile, when you start to hear it.
Tire noise on the road is louder at highway speed.
The fuel range now comes from your truck's own mileage on this drive, load and hills included.
The Engine voice and Engine brake voice settings are now called Engine sound and Engine brake sound.
The distant interstate traffic is now a steady roar.
A slow vehicle ahead in your lane can now be heard from half a mile away.
A slower vehicle ahead now plays the slowing-traffic sound, not a passing sound.
Fixed
Switching screen readers is now silent, and ZDSR no longer repeats "Speech is now using ZDSR" on every key press.
Channel 3000's shows are now as loud as the other stations, and their theme music no longer jumps out over the talk.
Been Everywhere, For Real now needs all sixteen regions on the map, not fourteen.
Grossed Out at the Scale House can now be earned. It needs a load within a ton of the legal limit; dispatch never offered the old 24 tons.
The Route 66 and redwood badges count the newer towns on the map, like Joplin, Gallup and Kingman on the Mother Road, and Eureka in the redwoods.
Menus accept Enter, Space, and letters from braille notetakers and automation tools. Like the BrailleNote Evolve, they could arrow but not select.
Traffic is now loud enough to hear over the engine, from about a quarter mile away.
Passing traffic now sounds where the vehicle really is. It comes up on its own side, then fades as it pulls ahead.
Traffic sounds on exit ramps now match the cars. The freeway fades off to your left, and cross traffic at the ramp end sweeps across in front of you.
Bobtail to a nearby city is refused while your CDL is suspended or disqualified. You hear when the suspension ends instead.
Training classes now leave you tired, about half as fast as driving does. If a class leaves you drowsy, you are told to sleep before you drive.
The last weigh station warning names its scale and leaves time to take the exit in every driving mode. Closed scales say so.
Weigh stations and truck stops around West Memphis are now where they really are. The scale that was never there is gone, and the Marion and Lehi scales are added.
The clock no longer sticks at real time after a slow merge. Changing Driving mode while moving now waits until you stop, and says so.
A pickup dispatched from another city now calls each street turn by its real direction. It no longer says keep right at every street.
The weigh station bypass charge now applies only when you really skip an open scale. A hazard near the scale no longer costs you; slowing, then speeding past, still does.
A closed weigh station says it is closed, once, and nothing more. It no longer chimes, saves, or counts as an inspection.
The state line on the St. Louis to Memphis drive now says I-40, over the Hernando de Soto Bridge.
The update check no longer offers a preview snapshot that is the same as your copy.
What's new, when updating from an older preview snapshot, now lists every change since your copy.
