Invites not sent. #744
|
Hello, Thanks for Splitpro, it's really great. :) I have a problem with invites. If I use the same email on the signin page, I receive the magic link without problem so the smtp settings are likely correct. any idea how to solve this problem ? extract of my .env file |

Your SMTP and env settings are fine. This is a bug in the Add Expense screen: the "Send invite to user" button never asks the server to send an email. In const handleAddEmailClickFalse = useCallback(() => onAddEmailClick(false), [onAddEmailClick]);
// ...
<Button ... onClick={handleAddEmailClickFalse}> // "Send invite" (should be true)
<Button ... onClick={handleAddEmailClickFalse}> // "Add to Split Pro" (false is correct)split-pro/src/components/AddExpense/SelectUserOrGroup.tsx Lines 147 to 165 in fd089df That means split-pro/src/server/api/routers/user.ts Lines 78 to 82 in fd089df Magic links work because they go through a different path ( The fix is to add a One more thing to know: if the email already belongs to an existing user (for example you already signed in with that address), |

In
SelectUserOrGroup.tsx, both buttons use the same handler, and it always passesfalse:split-pro/src/components/AddExpense/SelectUserOrGroup.tsx
