The OLAQ coordinator reports difficulty with getting usage statistics for issues. The usage statistics available in the admin dashboard at Statistics >> Articles show only article-level views and there isn't comparably convenient information for issues/issue galleys. Similarly, the public-facing Downloads chart provided by the Usage Statistics plugin displays statistics for article PDFs but does not appear on issue landing pages.
The issue data is present in exported reports, particularly at Statistics >> Report Generator >> PKP Usage statistics report. However:
- OLAQ coordinator finds this data difficult to parse
- OLAQ coordinator would like this data to be publicly viewable, in particular for authors' benefit
For the former, a view of the data similar to that at Statistics >> Articles is desirable.
For the latter, replicating the Downloads chart on Issue Landing Pages is desirable.
