Installing PowerDNS on a second server silently overwrote the first server's credentials

install_powerdns is per-server (the same class as Redis, Fail2Ban and
Cloudflare Tunnel), but the API URL and key it saves live in the panel's
global settings — nothing recorded which server they belonged to. Installing
PowerDNS on a second managed server overwrote the first server's saved
credentials with no warning, silently pointing every existing PowerDNS DNS
zone at the wrong authoritative server. Installing now records which server
owns the saved credentials and refuses a second install elsewhere with a
clear error naming that server; uninstalling frees the slot again (but only
when uninstalling from the server that actually owns it, so it can't be used
to steal another server's live credentials).

Downloading an SBOM regenerated it from scratch every time, even seconds after the last download

The "Download SBOM" button always ran a fresh syft scan (2-4 minutes) even
when a just-generated document already existed — the fast, cache-serving
endpoint built for exactly this existed but the button never called it. It
now serves the stored SBOM instantly when one exists, falling back to a full
scan only when none is stored yet. A new "Regenerate" button sits next to it
for forcing a fresh scan on demand.

Also

  • Removed sbom_enabled, a settings row seeded in v2.7.11 that nothing ever
read or wrote — SBOM availability is actually driven by whether syft is
    installed, not this row.

Install: curl -sL dockpanel.dev/install.sh | bash

Every release is installed on a throwaway VPS and driven as a user before
it ships. What that means, and what it has found, is written up at
https://docs.dockpanel.dev/testing.html.

Binaries are static musl builds signed with Sigstore; checksums.txt
and the .sig/.pem pairs are attached below.
