Upgrade compatibility

This release contains migration 0012_remove_node_instance_identity.sql, which drops the legacy node_watermarks table.

Before starting this release against a pre-0012 deployment:

• take and validate a PostgreSQL backup together with the matching deployment state;
• drain and stop every pre-0012 server process;
• after migration 0012 commits, do not restart a pre-0012 binary against that database;
• rollback requires restoring the pre-upgrade PostgreSQL backup and matching deployment state.
