Debian/Ubuntu package is broken (not OBS package)

A user in IRC reported that the Ubuntu package has some missing files and doesn't start at all.

For example miniColor is missing in the package. http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/all/owncloud/filelist 3rdparty/miniColors/css and 3rdparty/miniColors/js are empty.

@DeepDiver1975 Can you fix this?

This is quite critical as users installs the owncloud package in Ubuntu and get a non working owncloud instance.

The system is Ubuntu 14.04

owncloud DOES start (I'm the user from IRC), but it seems the upgrade from the version shipped with ubuntu 12.04 does seem to have some breakage (uploads don't seem to work, contacs and calenders don't display)

Well as we are talking about the packages maintained within the ubuntu community there is not much we can do.

FWIW, I ran into the same problem. Turns out that Ubuntu has a separate package for minicolors, but the owncloud package does not reference those files properly. The postinst script creates symlinks for a bunch of other such packages/files, but not for minicolors. Creating these symlinks fixed the problem on my system:
ln -s ../../../../javascript/jquery-minicolors/*.css /usr/share/owncloud/3rdparty/miniColors/css
ln -s ../../../../javascript/jquery-minicolors/*.js /usr/share/owncloud/3rdparty/miniColors/js
