Changes

  • app refresh and sb uicache now skip unchanged registrations, register new or moved bundles, and verify the resulting LaunchServices records. This ports the applicable refresh fix from uikittools-ng 627e1ee.
  • Fixed unregistering deleted bundles through symlinked parent paths, including /tmp and /var/jb. Existing bundles remain on disk after unregistration; repeated unregister is a no-op.
  • Added icli tests, with --expect-layout, per-test results, nonzero failure status, and optional registration/unregistration coverage through --registration-fixture. See the self-test instructions.

Validation and known limitations

  • The local 0.3.1 build passed focused rootless vphone acceptance on iOS 26.6.1: explicit unregister of existing/deleted bundles, symlink resolution, repeated unregister, registration relocation, stale cleanup, and preservation of the running app's PID during refresh.

  • The built-in suite recorded 10 passed, 1 failed, 0 skipped with its signed fixture. Vision OCR is unavailable on this vphone, independently confirmed through screen ocr; the self-test correctly reports that failure and exits nonzero.

  • Both DEB layouts passed local package checks. The full device acceptance report in the repository remains the historical 0.3.0 run; 0.3.1 received the focused checks above. RootHide runtime remains unverified.

  • Independently built Swift Package consumer passed on the rootless vphone with installed version 0.3.1.

  • Local device-tested binary SHA-256: 25ec2ad9287b5c6d2aa9c59900c2549a5f52d8a846b93857fb7ff5d0fb42c4c6. The CI artifact identity is recorded separately below.

Release artifacts

Rootless and experimental RootHide DEBs contain the same signed arm64 executable.

  • Swift Package library product: IcliKit.
  • CI checks architecture, firmware-only package dependency, entitlements, system-linked libraries, package ownership, matching binaries, and absence of process-launch imports.
  • These are CI-built artifacts. The repository's device acceptance report describes its recorded local build; CI does not rerun device tests. RootHide runtime remains unverified.
  • Native DEB operations do not execute maintainer scripts or triggers.
