TSRS 0.16.0
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
- Package scope. Native platform packages and WebAssembly move from
@ts-rsto@tsrs(#512). The main package remainstsrsand selects its platform package automatically. Update direct platform and WebAssembly dependencies to the new scope. - Compiler optimizations. Parser, binder, AST and checker changes reduce redundant work (#532, #533, #535, #547, #548, #549, #552, #554, #557). Conformance remains at the documented thresholds; no new packaged-release performance comparison is claimed.
The TypeScript source pin is unchanged: microsoft/TypeScript@b85298b6a81f. Release binaries report the matching nightly 7.1.0-dev.20260930.4.
TSRS 0.15.0
- Watch mode.
--watchand-b --watchnow work on Linux and macOS (#363). On vscode, a one-file edit is rechecked in about 50 ms, against 0.5–20 s for tsgo, and memory stays at 1.5–2.7 GB, against 10–15 GB for tsgo (#363, #391, #392). - Language server. Fixed crashes on bad client input and unusual files (#400, #404, #513), a memory leak from canceled requests (#400), and wrong
willRenameFilesand formatting edits (#513). Cheap requests no longer wait behind slow ones (#404). - Fixes. An emit crash and build-info diagnostic output, both regressions in 0.14.0 (#362).
- Memory safety. Fixed a data race found by ThreadSanitizer (#510) and aliasing bugs Miri found in plain-pointer builds (#401, #405, #515).
Install with pnpm add -D tsrs@0.15.0-ts7.1.0-dev.20260929. WebAssembly is available as @ts-rs/wasm at the same version.
TSRS 0.14.0
TSRS 0.14.0 follows TypeScript 7.1.0-dev.20260929 at b85298b6a81f772d080b0455de0ca9d744cd6fd6.
- Linux x64 and arm64 now support both GNU and musl, with automatic libc selection. Direct platform-package dependencies need a
-gnuor-muslsuffix. - Checker improvements reuse contextual types, property lookups and instantiations, reduce allocation churn and limit work-stealing contention.
- Scanner and filesystem improvements reduce redundant work and temporary allocation.
- Rust source builds require 1.99. GNU and macOS binaries use PGO; GNU binaries also use BOLT. Musl binaries are static builds without PGO/BOLT.
Install with pnpm add -D tsrs@0.14.0-ts7.1.0-dev.20260929. WebAssembly is available as @ts-rs/wasm at the same version.
Performance measurements and their comparison boundaries are recorded in the release notes.
