…ase-off (#769) Measured on a live whale-tier fleet: XvB's credited 1h average wanders ~2.5 kH/s below the controller's setpoint, sailing through the old 1 kH/s cushion cap and terminating won bonus rounds mid-flight (2 of 5 whale wins paid ~zero). Two guards: - Cushion defaults: XVB_MAINT_MARGIN_PCT 3% -> 5%, ABS_CAP 1 kH/s -> 5 kH/s, so the whale reference sits at 105k — clear of the measured credited noise at every tier. - In-round hold: for XVB_WIN_ROUND_HOLD_S (90 min) after a recorded raffle win, the calibration loop skips downward steps so a mid-round sag is never controller-assisted. Upward steps, the VIP reserve clamp, and the stale-read fail-safes are unaffected; the liveness read fails open to normal steering. Closes #769 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
