cloudrs 0.1.0 beta 1

The first public build of cloudrs, a native SoundCloud client written in Rust.

Beta. Expect rough edges, and please open an issue when something breaks.

Linux and macOS builds come from CI and are not tried by us yet.

The installers are not code-signed yet, so your system warns the first time:

• Windows: SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
• macOS: right-click the app, choose Open, then confirm.

What's in it

• Listen: search tracks, people, playlists and albums; paste a SoundCloud link to play it. The waveform is the seek bar.
• Queue: play next, drag to reorder, shuffle with undo, repeat, autoplay, history, and the session comes back at start.
• Account: sign in through a SoundCloud window. Feed, Likes, Library, Following, like and follow.
• Jam: listen together from anywhere, peer-to-peer, with no server. Share a link and everyone hears the same moment, and you can see who's listening.
• Home: a greeting, what's playing, your playlists, trending by genre, curated rows and charts.
• Playlists of your own: create them with a cover, description, genre, tags and privacy. Add tracks, reorder, rename and delete.
• Discord: shows what you're listening to, with the cover and a progress bar. It can be turned off.
• Look: dark and light themes, pages tinted by their artwork, a custom title bar.
