Highlights

The move to GPUI Kit. The interface is rebuilt
on GPUI Kit's components, the Settings window is redesigned, and the
build now pulls every dependency from crates.io.

Added

• Settings search: the rebuilt Settings window has a search box
  that jumps straight to matching settings, and each page lists its
  sections in the sidebar.
• Welcome screen has a New profile button.
• Reset all shortcuts button on the Shortcuts page, beside the
  per-row resets.
• Paste line delay: a per-profile pause after each pasted line
  (Advanced → Paste safety → Line delay, off by default), so a device
  can finish replying before the next line arrives. Cisco IOS drops
  the rest of its output when input lands mid-reply, which cut pasted
  show output short in testing.

Changed

• Session header reads COM4 · 9600 8N1 (was 9600 /8 N 1).
• Settings opens larger by default (880 × 600, was 560 × 520) so
  the pages fit. A size you've saved is kept; Settings' window reset
  uses the new default.
• Edit Profile… on the connected profile's right-click menu opens
  the editor while keeping the port open (the same as Suspend, whose
  tooltip now says so).
• Moved to GPUI Kit 0.8.0 (gpui-pre 0.3.9), the crates.io home of
  gpui-component, replacing the Zed-git gpui and gpui-component git
  pins. The build is crates.io-only.
• Settings window rebuilt on GPUI Kit's Settings layout: a page
  sidebar, each setting in its own box, and GPUI Kit switches and
  dropdowns. All settings, imports and the shortcut recorder work as
  before.
• Main window on GPUI Kit components: buttons and icon buttons,
  the profile editor's tab rail and fields, the status bar, the Send
  File dialog's buttons and progress bar, the welcome and suspended
  screens, and every right-click and ⋯ menu (including the
  terminal's) now use GPUI Kit, following the active skin.
• --shadow-floating is no longer applied: menus and dialogs draw
  GPUI Kit's own shadow.
• Dependencies refreshed: serialport 4.10.1, serde_json, uuid,
  plist, rust-i18n and others.

Fixed

• Profile editor tabs open at the top: switching tabs no longer
  keeps the previous tab's scroll position.
• Clear clears everything: the last screen no longer survives in
  scrollback, and the line counter resets.
• Highlighting changes apply while connected: turning the
  profile's highlight switch off (or changing its packs) and saving
  now takes effect on Resume instead of after a reconnect.
• Timestamps, line numbers and hex view start on a fresh line when
  switched on right after a reconnect, instead of attaching to the
  prompt left on screen.
• Highlighting false positives: a keyword inside a hyphenated word
  (timeout in timeout-policy, up in up-time) is no longer
  coloured, including in a "User overrides" pack copied from the old
  defaults; "full" in ordinary output no longer lights up as the OSPF
  FULL state.
• More interfaces highlighted: Cellular, Dialer, Virtual-Template,
  Virtual-Access, BVI, Async, Multilink and similar Cisco interfaces.
• Readable dim text on the default theme: bright black (used for
  timestamps and other dim highlights) is lighter, #4a4a52 → #71717a.
• Skin colours reach every GPUI Kit control: switches, buttons and
  the Settings boxes use the active skin's accent and palette instead
  of GPUI Kit's stock colours.
• Skin fonts follow CSS fallback: a skin's font stack now uses the
  first family that's actually installed. Blueprint asked for "Space
  Mono" first; without it the app fell back to a system font that sat
  off-centre in buttons. It now uses the next monospace font in its
  stack (Menlo on a stock Mac), as the skin intends.

Security

• rustls patched (0.23.45 → 0.23.46, rustls-webpki 0.103.16):
  clears five TLS advisories, including a ServerHello downgrade to
  classical key exchange and certificate verification accepting
  distrusted intermediates. Used by the update checker.
• webpki-roots refreshed (1.0.7 → 1.0.11): drops trust in the
  distrusted emSign intermediates.
• Docs toolchain refreshed (astro 7.4.2, starlight 0.42.7, sharp
  0.35.5 and their transitive dependencies), clearing all 39 open
  advisories against the static docs site's build tooling, including
  a critical astro XSS. None affected the Baudrun app.
