🚀 Overview
This release focuses on improving hardware documentation and refactoring the project. Key highlights include migration to KiCad v9, documentation for IoT-PostBox v1.2 release, project structure cleanup, and integration with the WebConfigServer library ecosystem.
🛠️ Hardware
KiCad v9 Migration
- Migrated all PCB designs to KiCad v9 for improved compatibility and latest features
- Fixed missing 3D models and improved visual representation of components
- Updated connector footprints with more appropriate alternatives for better assembly
Release IoT-PostBox v1.2
- New gerber files (
iot-postbox_v1.2.rar), interactive BOM, and complete 3D render set - STEP files for mechanical integration and updated schematic PDFs
Cleanup
- Added missing TTL to USB adapter documentation
- Removed obsolete panelized PCB files and outdated documentation images
💾 Firmware
WebConfigServer Integration
- Removed local webserver folder - now uses WebConfigServer library's default dashboard
📚 Documentation
- Reorganized hardware documentation with dedicated v1.0, v1.2, and v0.3 folders
- Refactorized and enhanced pcb_designs readme with comprehensive hardware descriptions and version comparisons
- Updated and refactorized repo readme, updating installation and configuration instructions and WebConfigServer integration
- Added proyect License
