Upgrade

npm install -g pairit

Your existing links don't change.

What's new

  • Name your configs. Upload with --name instead of --config-id. Pairit makes the participant link from the name and adds a random part so it can't be guessed, e.g. my-study-k3f9x2m8q1. Without --name, it uses the name: field in your YAML, or else the file name.
  • Re-uploads keep your link. Upload again under the same name and the link stays the same. If the config changed, it's saved as a new revision. The CLI warns you if participants already ran the previous one.
  • Config history. pairit config history <configId> lists each revision and how many sessions ran it.
  • Better exports. The sessions file has a new configRevision column, so you can tell apart participants from before and after a mid-study edit.

Good to know

  • For a new study rather than a fix, upload under a new name. You'll get a new link and separate data.
  • You can still update an existing config with --config-id. Use --name for new ones.
