Installer

• Auto-detects polkit actions directory preferring /etc with fallback to /usr/share.
• Uninstall checks both polkit locations and uses --uninstall flag instead of positional argument.

Reliability

• Fixed busy-state race condition where background refreshes could prematurely unlock the UI during user actions.
• Fixed potential thread pool deadlock from nested task submissions; network/peer fetches are now sequential.
• Command failures surfaced in the status bar instead of being silently swallowed (service, firewall, join/leave, dispatcher writes).

Security

• Environment variable validation: Values passed through pkexec are now pattern-checked, not just name-whitelisted.

UI

• Sticky error messages persist until the next user action instead of vanishing on the next refresh cycle.
• Modernized leave dialog using Gtk.AlertDialog (GTK 4.10+), replacing deprecated Gtk.MessageDialog.
• Red bold leave button for better visibility; dialog defaults to Cancel so Enter won't accidentally leave a network.
• Zero network ID correctly rejected when joining.

Code cleanup

• Removed redundant data structures and duplicate code paths. Reduced line count despite added features.
