Added
An organization admin can turn on an assistant that drafts item text. The choices are OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a local one. It stays off until an admin saves a key. The key is encrypted at rest and is never sent back to the browser. A draft is built from the item's title, description, and field names, and only when the caller can already read that item.
Changed
The portal chrome is a cool chart sheet: light gray page, dark ink, and a deep chart blue, in light and dark. The frame is meant to sit behind the map.
The public Why page is gone. A visit to /why redirects home.
Admin user lists and group membership reads stay inside the caller's organization.
Portal images run Node.js 24.21.0, the current 24 LTS line. Dependabot will keep proposing patch and minor updates on that line and will leave Node major bumps alone.
JavaScript dependencies moved forward inside their current major versions, including NestJS 11.2.7, Prisma 7.10, and Next.js 16.3.8.
Fixed
A service probe no longer reads an upstream body of unlimited size. A body over 8 MB is refused before it is parsed.
The development Postgres image builds again, and the Prisma 7 seed runs.
