Is it possible to disable the Status Bar?

Hello and thank you for your continuous work on this wonderful app!

I'm currently trying out the latest nightly build and can't seem to find an option to disable the Status Bar completely. Is it possible, or is it planned?
This feature might be really helpful since with smaller and especially with square screens vertical space is a premium.

In the same nightly "Pastierina mode" option (top) became almost as thick as the default "Extended Status Bar" (bottom):

In some previous development builds (notably c2c284e) it was possible to make it look like this, "Pastierina mode" toggled on (top) and off (bottom):
