• wordtaste mode (Taste Writing Studio) — a goal-driven writing studio that de-AIs prose and learns your voice as you write. Cross-family generation (Claude / codex / gemini), block-addressed draft with kernel-freeze, span-select rewrite directions, disruption ladder, and distillation of every judgment into plain-text taste artifacts (no model trained). Three-zone viewer (materials · draft · taste) with independent reading-font and color-theme axes (霞鹭文楷 / Newsreader), block-aligned annotation column, markdown export, and showcase. (Evolved from the internal palate prototype.)
• borrow — peer / round-trip cross-mode handoff (ADR-015). Unlike a handoff (a goto that abandons the current mode), a borrow lets a live session borrow another mode's capability for one bounded sub-task in the background and fold the result back, without leaving. pneuma borrow / pneuma borrow-return, core/types/borrow.ts, server dispatch/return routes with turn-boundary notification, sub-session marking, and caller/borrowed skill guidance.
