Windows desktop release.

  • Keeps print monitoring and print handling active while the app window is hidden or resident in the tray.
  • Adds Italian localization.
  • Includes a signed combined x64/ARM64 Windows installer.

This is a Windows-only application update. The verified 2.0.8 macOS assets and updater manifest are preserved so macOS clients remain on 2.0.8.

Fixed

  • Fixed direct scan-to-print getting stuck after successfully reprinting an already-fulfilled order when Fulfill on print is enabled. Finished prints now clear progress and allow the next scan without signing out.
  • Corrected the progress indicator so a finished print is not shown as still waiting for fulfillment.

The existing consecutive-label protection is unchanged: an immediate repeat of the same label is still blocked deliberately, while the scanner remains ready for another barcode.

Install

Includes signed Windows x64/ARM64 installers and a signed, notarized Apple Silicon macOS build. Existing installations can update through Pango Print's automatic updater.

Pango 2.0.7

Pango 2.0.7 — Windows

  • Print local-pickup labels at their intended size and identify them as Pickup label in print history.
  • Clear consecutive-print protection after any different barcode is scanned, so an operator can retry the previous order after scanning another code—even when that code is unknown, ambiguous, or locked.
  • Support shared Zebra SNAPI capture from any valid CoreScanner-reported SNAPI scanner model instead of limiting it to the LI2208 model family.

This is a Windows-only update. macOS remains on Pango 2.0.6; its 2.0.6 updater manifest and downloads are carried forward unchanged for compatibility.

Downloads

  • Windows (x64 and ARM64): pango-2.0.7-setup.exe
  • macOS (Apple Silicon, unchanged 2.0.6): pango-2.0.6.dmg

Pango 2.0.6

  • Automatically discard an unfinished Device pairing request created for a different Pango server and continue sign-in on the current server.
  • Preserve an existing active Device credential while removing only the unusable foreign pairing request.

This fixes the unrecoverable “This request belongs to another Pango server” screen that could appear after switching from a development build to the production app.

Downloads

  • macOS (Apple Silicon): pango-2.0.6.dmg
  • Windows (x64 and ARM64): pango-2.0.6-setup.exe

Pango 2.0.5

  • Fix “Restart & install” being blocked by close-to-tray behavior during macOS updates.
  • Match the “Restart & install” button colors to “Open packing”.
  • Keep Pango's window accessible if its tray icon cannot be initialized.
  • Make Zebra Print tools Windows-only, including the tray toggle and Browser Print setup/discovery. macOS system-queue and network printing are unchanged.

Downloads

  • macOS (Apple Silicon): pango-2.0.5.dmg
  • Windows (x64 and ARM64): pango-2.0.5-setup.exe

Updating from 2.0.4 or earlier on macOS

If “Restart & install” leaves Pango running after the download completes, explicitly choose Quit Pango Print from its menu, then reopen Pango. The fix in 2.0.5 applies once this version is installed. You can also quit Pango and install the DMG manually.

Pango Print Agent 2.0.4

@lukres lukres released this 14 Sep 00:13
4e46d59

What's changed

  • Simplified device sign-in: restart pairing with Sign-in, keep Try again for errors, and remove the redundant cancelled-request notice.
  • Hide shared-SNAPI status on unsupported platforms.
  • Clarify shared-SNAPI / Zebra CoreScanner wording in scanner status, the tray menu and the Windows installer across all supported languages.

Scanner hardware support and Windows-x64 restrictions are unchanged. Device sign-in continues to have no time-based expiry.

Downloads

  • macOS (Apple Silicon): pango-2.0.4.dmg — signed and notarized, with Retina Pango installer artwork.
  • Windows (x64 / ARM64): pango-2.0.4-setup.exe — signed installer for both architectures.

Automatic-update packages and manifests are included for both platforms.

Pango Print Agent 2.0.3

@lukres lukres released this 13 Sep 23:57
4e46d59

What's changed

  • Removed the misleading “Your Device session expired. Sign in again.” notice in all supported languages.
  • Device sign-in has no time-based expiry. Saved credentials survive app restarts, long offline periods and temporary network outages. Explicit sign-out, revocation or Device replacement still requires reconnecting.

Downloads

  • macOS (Apple Silicon): pango-2.0.3.dmg — signed by Pango Solutions, Inc. and notarized by Apple, with the Retina Pango installer artwork.
  • Windows (x64 / ARM64): pango-2.0.3-setup.exe — signed installer for both architectures.

Automatic-update packages and manifests are included for both platforms.

Pango Print Agent 2.0.0 — macOS

Download pango-2.0.0.dmg for Apple Silicon Macs. This signed and notarized build connects to https://app.pango.ai.

What's new

  • Device-code pairing with browser approval.
  • Unified device-based printing, exact printer routing, and printer inventory.
  • Resident menu-bar operation, print activity history, and local Zebra USB CDC scanner support.
  • Updated packing setup and device controls.

Important upgrade information

  • Requires the matching Device API backend. This desktop release is being published ahead of the coordinated backend rollout; pairing and printing will not work until that backend is available in production.
  • This is a breaking major upgrade. Previous native credentials are not migrated; pair the device again after upgrading.
  • Desktop tests and packaged-runtime validation were skipped at the release owner's request. Physical printer/scanner operation has not been verified for this build.

Windows

The attached Windows 1.1.3 installer and update manifest are retained unchanged to preserve existing Windows update checks. There is no Windows 2.0.0 installer in this release.
