If a player is being disrespectful, stopping him/her is very easy with the mute command.

Command

bmute is the base command that gets registered, it is associated with the permission node gssentials.admin.mute. Staff with the gssentials.admin.notify permission will be notified on a mute, as well as the muted player's attempts at speaking while muted. The gssentials.admin.mute.exempt permission node prevents a player from being muted.

Configuration

When you first install BungeeEssentials the command will be enabled, though if you wish you can disable it by removing mute from the enable section of the config file.

Key Default
mute.muted.enabled &cYou are now muted!
mute.muted.disabled &aYou are no longer muted!
mute.muted.error &cHey, you can''t chat while muted! (The double apostrophe is to keep the configuration syntax correct, in game it will be seen as 1)
mute.muter.enabled &c{{ PLAYER }} is now muted!
mute.muter.disabled &a{{ PLAYER }} is no longer muted!
mute.muter.exempt &cHey, you can''t mute that player!
mute.muter.error &7{{ PLAYER }} tried to chat while muted!

When adjusting the message format you may include any global variables as well as those listed below.

Variable Replacement
{{ PLAYER }} The muted/unmuted player
