Geometric Flow manuscript v1.2.12

This release archives the independently reviewed manuscript v1.2.12 and its self-contained LaTeX source package.

Manuscript v1.2.12 incorporates the recorded v1.2.9 errata and subsequent textual clarifications into a self-contained recommended reading version. It does not change the mathematical conclusions, theorem-bearing constants, frozen certificates, or the v0.7.4 + v0.9.3 theorem boundary.

No Arb rerun was performed or required. GLOBAL_FLOW_CLAIMED=false.

The source archive contains the complete manuscript source, build instructions, and source manifest. A clean build uses three pdflatex passes and produces 20 A4 pages, displayed equations (1)–(37), references [1]–[18], and no undefined-reference, rerun, overfull, or underfull warnings.

Scientific boundary

The theorem-bearing software boundary remains:

  • v0.7.4 complete-parent-box geometry and strict-descent certificate;
  • v0.9.3 intrinsic local-ODE existence, uniqueness, exact-response-preservation, and strict-descent certificate.

This release does not claim complete-child traversal, complete-atlas continuation, long-time existence, hardware validation, or a global response-fibre flow.

Historical version

The frozen v1.2.9 assets, erratum, tag paper-local-ode-v1.5, and Zenodo version DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21882158 remain immutable historical records.

Boundary

This release validates one microscopic local ODE step. It does not validate a
complete child, the ten-chart atlas, arbitrary endpoint connection, or a
global geometric flow.

This release does not change the scientific model, source algorithm, proof domain, or claim scope of v0.7.4. It adds the complete reference protocol, certificate, and report, strengthens fail-closed verification, and synchronizes the reported bounds with the archived machine output.

The original theorem-bearing v0.7.4 tag remains frozen at 93ae0e3. This r1 release points to the artifact-hardening commit series on main and should be used for the complete certificate-chain artifact.

v0.7.4 — Frozen Local Descent Release

This is the frozen research-software release for Computation as Geometric Flow: Projective-Jet Filtration and Arb-Certified Local Descent.

Scientific status:

  • FORMAL_ARB_ORIENTED_DESCENT_CERTIFIED_ALIGNMENT_INCONCLUSIVE
  • Stage A certifies local strict descent on one complete serialized 1/64 parent box covered by 16 exact child boxes.
  • The certified derivative is with respect to the local Chebyshev coordinate s: dL6/ds <= -0.6530784697700559 < 0.
  • The KKT-witness alignment gate remains fail-closed and is not claimed.
  • No validated ODE theorem, complete ten-chart flow theorem, global fibre theorem, holonomy claim, cloud claim, QPU claim, or neural-network claim is made.
