AquaVerify is a mobile-first freshwater visual observation application created for the OneAquaHealth × IEEE Global Hackathon (Track 1 — Citizen Science UX). It empowers students, volunteers, and citizen observers to document local waterways with scientific integrity, zero jargon, and 100% offline capability.

Key Features & Highlights

  • Water Movement & Flow: Document flow velocity effortlessly.
  • Litter & Surroundings: Track solid waste and land-use context (Riparian buffer, Agricultural, Urban).

  • Connects citizen actions directly with biological conservation understanding.

3. Safety & Scientific Integrity

  • Proactive safety warnings ("Never touch or taste questionable water").
