@github-actions github-actions released this 22 Oct 23:36

New

  • Split recordings (Settings → Output → "Automatically split file") now get one log per video file, including Hybrid MP4/MOV. (#68, #91)
  • STOP RECORDING / STOP STREAM lines state the duration, e.g. Duration 0:18:30, using your Format and excluding paused time. (#80, #103)

Fixed

  • Starting a stream before a recording no longer writes into the previous recording's log. Stream-only lines go to the Logfile, which stays editable with sync enabled. (#101)
  • Logs keep going to the right file after the log is renamed to match the video, and when one of streaming/recording stops. (#97, #99)
  • Folder names containing dots no longer break the synced log filename. (#100)
  • Splitting a recording while paused no longer corrupts the times. (#104)
  • Event clock times after a pause are no longer early by the pause length. (#106)
  • Fixed a memory leak reported by OBS at shutdown after recording. (#105)
  • Warnings in the OBS log when the Logfile folder doesn't exist or the log can't be renamed.

Note

STOP lines now end with Duration … (or Segment duration … after a split). Scripts that expect these lines to end with Reset to 0 need adjusting.

Milliseconds: set Format to %d:%02d:%02d.%03d (available since 2.8.0).
