Welcome to the release of MISA v2.0! 🎉 This version introduces several new features and improvements to enhance your macOS Intune management experience.

Features and Improvements ✨

  1. New User Interface 🎨

    • Updated Design: A fresh, modern look for the main screen and side menu.
    • Toggle Buttons: Easily switch between Standard User and Admin User modes.

  2. Installed Applications Management 🗂️

    • List of Installed Apps: View all third-party applications installed on the system.
    • Uninstall Functionality: Uninstall applications directly from the list. Note: Requires admin rights.

  3. Device Management 🛠️

    • MDM Profiles: View all installed Mobile Device Management (MDM) profiles.

  4. User Accounts Management 👥

    • User Accounts: View all user accounts on the system, including their types (Admin or Standard).

  5. New Functionalities 🆕

    • Elevate as Admin: Temporarily elevate a Standard User to Admin for 30 minutes.
    • Remove Admin Rights: Downgrade an Admin User to Standard User with a single click.

Installation Instructions 💾

Requirements

•	macOS: Ensure you are running macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later.
•	Permissions: Administrator privileges are required for certain functionalities.

Steps

1.	Download the Installer Package: Download the MISA_v2.0.pkg file from the [Releases (https://github.com/pathaksomesh06/MISA/releases) section.
2.	Install the Application: Open the downloaded MISA_v2.0.pkg and follow the on-screen instructions to install MISA in your /Applications directory.
3.	Run MISA: Navigate to the /Applications folder and launch the MISA.app.

Usage Guide 📘

Switching User Modes

•	Standard User: The default mode with limited access.
•	Admin User: Full access to all features. Requires admin authentication.

Managing Applications

1.	View Installed Apps: Go to the Installed Apps section in the sidebar.
2.	Uninstall Apps: Click on the Uninstall button next to the app you wish to remove. Admin authentication is required.

Managing Admin Rights

1.	**Elevate as Admin**: Go to the Elevate As Admin section and click the button to elevate user rights for 30 minutes.
2.	**Remove Admin Rights**: Go to the Remove Admin Rights section and click the button to downgrade the current user to a Standard User.

Known Issues and Limitations 🐞

  • Admin Rights: Some functionalities require admin rights and may not work if the user is not an admin.
  • Uninstall Functionality: Ensure that applications are not running before attempting to uninstall.
  • MISA can’t uninstall Intune Managed apps.
  • Can’t read MDM profiles. It shows none on my MDM managed device
  • User registration status shows RED dot
  • MISA closes automatically when clicking on the Remove Admin rights

- Device Management Profiles shows "No Profiles Installed"
