The e2e pyfilesystem test failed on CI because the slow job's environment does not install the optional extra. Mirror the runtime's optionality in the tests (importorskip), install the extra in the fast and slow CI jobs so the tests stay exercised rather than skipped, replace the bare ModuleNotFoundError for a configured-but-uninstalled pyfilesystem source with an actionable message, and raise job timeouts for slow runner days.
